Farmers on Walnut

Fresh Food from Local Farms

2014-2015 Winter Season

Join us for our 2014-2015 winter market season opening on November 20 from 3pm-6pm. The market will continue on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays through April, with no market on January 1st. More details to come!

Farmers on Walnut was established in 2012 as an seasonal, producer's only farmers market.  The mission of Farmers on Walnut is to provide access to fresh, local food choices, to support local farmers, to improve health & nutrition education, to serve as a community gathering place and to further the economic development of our community. To fulfill our mission we operate seasonal farmers' markets that provide access to fresh, local and nutritious meat, cheese, dairy, fruit, vegetables, bread and other items to residents of South Central Pennsylvania communities, provide access to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Farmers Market Nutrition Program benefits, and engage in educational activities including cooking demonstrations, recipe cards, and collaborative educational events with other local nonprofits. We encourage area nonprofits to contact the market if interested in participating in a market date or event. The market also seeks to collaborate with the Borough of Camp Hill and the local small business community to create synergy and mutually beneficial economic development programs.
The Market's Grand Opening Date for the Winter 2014-2015 Season is Thursday, November 20, 2014. The winter market is located in the Fellowship Hall of the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church at 101 N. 23rd Street, Camp Hill. Entrance to the Fellowship Hall is on Walnut Street, across the street from the ample church parking lot. The winter market will be held on Thursdays beginning November 20, 2014 and ending April 16, 2014 from 3pm-6pm. If the market closes due to inclement weather, updates will be posted on our Facebook page and here on the web site.
